Many families enjoy gathering around the tv for the Superbowl game! Whether you watch the final game of the season because you’re a football fanatic or because you enjoy the commercials and half-time show, please consider participating in KrabbeConnect’s 3rd Annual Super Bowl Squares Challenge.
The goal for any football team is to make it to the end zone and come out on top. At KrabbeConnect, our goal is similar... A day in which each patient receives an early diagnosis, has access to state-of-the-art care, and lives a life free of Krabbe disease. So, let’s have a little fun and raise some money to help support those living with Krabbe disease.
How to play the Super Bowl Squares Challenge
Step 1
Buy Your Squares
Use the form below to make a tax-deductible donation by February 6th, 2021.
Step 2
Pick Your Squares
Upon receipt of your donation, you’ll receive an email confirming your donation and the website address to select your Super Bowl Squares. In the email will be a link to the KrabbeConnect grid you selected, allowing you to add your name to a square.
Note: For purchases of more than 1 square, add your name to more than one square. KrabbeConnect will be closely monitoring the boards to ensure participants are accurately selecting their squares.
Step 3
Watch to Win
KrabbeConnect has 2 boards available for purchase: a 10 x 10 (100 squares to chose from) or a 5 x 5 (25 squares to choose from). Once all the squares have been filled, the computer system will randomly assign numbers to each column and row.
Each square represents a specific score in the game based on the column and row numbers. On the 10 x 10 grid one number will be assigned per team. On the 5 x 5 grid, two numbers will be assigned per team.
Prizes and Winners!
All participants will receive a copy of the final grid prior to the start of the Super Bowl game on Sunday, February 7th, 2021. The winner is determined by looking at the last number in each teams' score, and then matching those numbers on the grid and seeing which square intersects those two numbers. An example would be if the Green Bay Packers were playing the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, and the score at halftime was Green Bay Packers 23, and Kansas City Chiefs 14. The last number for the Packers is 3, and the last number for the Chiefs is 4. The square on the grid that has the Packers with a number of 3, and Chiefs score of 4, would be the winner. See pictured example of grids below.
