Medical Supply Program

This program works to help provide items of medical necessity to patients living with Krabbe disease. It’s important to us that patients living with this disease live their best life. Some examples of items covered under this program are cooling mats, positioning devices, weighted blankets, etc.

1. You have been diagnosed with Krabbe disease or you are a caregiver/guardian of a loved one diagnosed with Krabbe disease and they live with you at least 50% of the time.
2. Send an email and a picture of the item not covered by insurance to info@krabbeconnect.org. A representative of KrabbeConnect will return your email within 2-3 business days ensuring the item is permissible under this program.
3. Once you receive an email approving the item of need, please complete the medical equipment program form at your earliest convenience. Once it’s been completed, please allow a minimum of 3 business days to review the request.
