Football’s not over yet! If you’re one of those football fanatics, join KrabbeConnect for their 1st Annual Super Bowl Squares Challenge. The goal for any football team is to make it to the end zone and come out on top. At KrabbeConnect, our goal is similar…… A day in which each patient receives early diagnosis, state of the art care and lives a life free of disease. So, let’s have a little fun and raise some money to help support those living with this Krabbe disease.
How to play KrabbeConnect’s Super Bowl Squares Challenge:
Step 1: Go to our donate page on KrabbeConnect.org and make a tax-deductible donation via PayPal or send a check payable to KrabbeConnect to P.O. Box 264, Rosemount, MN 55068 by January 25th, 2019. Be sure to check mark the box “fundraiser” under-- How Would You Like Your Donation Used?
Step 2: Upon receipt of your donation, you’ll receive an email confirming your donation and the website address to select your Super Bowl Squares. The email will provide the username and password to access KrabbeConnet’s grid, allowing you to add your name to a square. Note: For purchases of more than 1 square, add your name to more than one square. For example, a $100 donation = 4 squares; add your name to 4 different squares on the grid.
Step 3: Once all the squares have been filled, the computer system will randomly assign numbers to each column and row. Now each square represents a specific score in the game based on the column and row numbers. KrabbeConnect has developed a 10 an empty 10 by 10 grid. That’s 100 Squares for people to choose from. Each square is $25; Maximum of 4 squares can be purchased per player.
Prizes and Winners!
All participants will receive a copy of the final grid prior to the start of the Super Bowl game on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019.
A winner will be determined at the end of the each quarter as follows:
- Quarter 1: $25 Visa Gift Card
- Quarter 2: $50 Visa Gift Card
- Quarter 3: $75 Visa Gift Card
- Final Game Score: $100 Visa Gift Card plus 2 tickets to our A Million Dreams Gala. *** Please note, the tickets do not include travel or accommodations for this event. ***
The winner is determined by looking at the last number in each teams' score, and then matching those numbers on the grid and seeing which square intersects those two numbers. An example would be if the Miami Dolphins were playing the New York Giants in the Super Bowl, and the score at halftime was Miami Dolphins 23, and NY Giants 14. The last number for the Dolphins is 3, and the last number for the Giants is 4. The square on the grid that has the Dolphins with a number of 3, and Giants score of 4, would be the winner.
